Guy Ritchie’s ‘The Gentlemen’ Will Bring the Swagger in 2024

Pour a glass of top-shelf whiskey and put your fists up, because a brand-new Guy Ritchie gangster romp is coming to steal your attention.

Premiering next year, The Gentlemen introduces television audiences to a new slice of the world initially brought to life in Ritchie’s 2020 film of the same name. While the characters of the upcoming TV show will be totally different from the movie, The Gentlemen will have all the same bite — along with a bunch of fresh tricks up its well-tailored sleeve.

The White Lotus star Theo James leads The Gentlemen as Eddie Horniman, the estranged son of an English aristocrat. James is joined by Lovesick and I Hate Suzie’s Daniel Ings and Crawl’s Kaya Scodelario. Ritchie is at the helm of the action drama as creator, co-writer, executive producer, and director of the first two episodes.

“The world of The Gentlemen is a little bit of me,” Ritchie told Netflix last November. “We’re looking forward to bringing fans back into that world, introducing new characters and their stories, and I am excited to be doing it with this extremely talented cast.”

In addition to James, Ings, and Scodelario, the cast includes: Joely Richardson (Lady Chatterley’s Lover), Vinnie Jones (Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels), Giancarlo Esposito (Better Call Saul), Chanel Cresswell (This is England), Michael Vu, Max Beesley (Hijack), Jasmine Blackborow (Marie Antoinette), Harry Goodwins (In His Hands: The Emergence), Dar Salim (The Covenant), Pearce Quigley (Detectorists), Ruby Sear, and Peter Serafinowicz (The Tick).
